What drives us
We started out with the idea of providing safe treatments to the people who want to be treated in an appropriate set-up run by a surgeon. There is a paucity of such clinics in the country with most surgeons concentrating on major plastic surgery operations but not having time to provide the basic antiwrinkle treatments to a much larger population. Nurses are doing a great job in this area but some people want the treatments to be administered by a surgeon only.

This need of the population prompted us to establish a clinic on the principles of 'Good Medical Practice' laid out by the General Medical Council.

People

Dr Farhat Amir

She is a busy surgeon currently working as a Registrar in Transplant Surgery in the NHS. She qualified from medical school 10 years ago and holds the Membership of the Royal College of Surgeons (MRCS) -she passed the exams from the Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh. Working in the NHS, she is attuned to keep patients' interests above everything else. She administers all the treatments herself and follows up the clients two weeks after all treatments. She is available on phone if you need to speak to her urgently. If you cannot get through to her, do leave a message and she will get back to you as soon as she is free. Personalised care is what you will get with her -all our clients are now friends we share a joke and laugh with.

Dr Shahina Amir

She is a homeopathic doctor who has also done Masters in Hospital Management from London. She looks after the day to day running of our clinic. She is really the life-blood of our company who looks after absolutely everything from stock and appointments to the well being of our customers when the surgeon is busy in her hospital. Our clients are the essential part of our team. We work together to achieve the realistic goals you have set out for your self. You are kept informed at each stage of the treatments. Your understanding of the concepts and treatments is essential for our success. We help you take decisions which minimise the risks that you take. The treatments we offer are not essential for your health but have real risks like any other medical treatment, as such your full participation in the deliberations is essential at each stage.

Company

Our company's name is Windermere Businesses Limited. As the name suggests, we are involved in other businesses as well. We currently retail jewellery for weddings as well as party and daily wear. We stock engagement and wedding rings, diamond, gold, silver, amber, other precious and semi-precious stones and costume jewellery as well as gifts. We have plans to expand our business in other fields -we will keep you informed: watch this space. Our long-term goal is to provide jobs to a large number of people and to contribute to eradicate poverty.
